Drugs on the brain

This is my third post and I’ve finally learned about my topic of controversy and I’m starting on my article les for my magazine tonight but ill give you some information on illicit drugs.

Hallucinogens are one of the drug categories, these cause hallucinations “duh”.
Drugs in this category are: Mushrooms, LSD, and PCP which is especially dangerous and can cause death.

Stimulants are another drug category and are the most common from my understanding. These cause the body to fell stimulated. Drugs in this category are: amphetamines, methamphetamines, Ritalin, ecstasy crack, cocaine, and designer drugs. The worst thing about these drugs is the they all increase heart attacks and are extremely addictive to your brain.

  1. Great science about neurotransmitters! Now...learn about how a drug interferes with the normal neurotransmitter response. Look up cocaine for example and see what it does in that synapse.
